Why choose between blade and spell when you can have both? As a member of the legendary order Terrune Calibre, the Runeblade's training in sword and sorcery makes them a mighty adversary.

This hero pairs elemental rune magic with blade techniques to decimate foes.

Lore[edit | edit source]

The Runeblades of Terrun Calibre are the perfect marriage of melee combat and mystical might. On the hunt, chasing after a traitor to the order, the Runeblade will stop at nothing to take vengeance upon the vile Holstatt and avenge his teacher's heinous murder... but it will take the combination of Pelgian bladecraft and Jibrician rune magic to stop him.

The most important part of mastering this is getting the runes just right. Every time someone tries to rush the Storm Sigil, they don't get it quite right and forget they're holding a metal sword!

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • Some abilities can be cast while jumping, which can help you attack while chasing after mobile enemies, or position yourself better while attacking. The abilities that can be cast while jumping are:
  1. Storm Flurry
  2. Impact
  3. Illusory Blades
  4. Flame Sigil
  5. Frost Sigil
  6. Storm Sigil
  7. Warding Storm
  8. Elemental Potency
  • You can animation cancel your Illusory Blades, Flame Sigil, Frost Sigil, and Storm Sigil with your Blink
  • Depending on how many points you invest into Blade Chasm, you may want to not use it for dealing damage, but rather save it for situations where you need the mobility
  • Your Blink snaps onto enemies, making it difficult to dash through an enemy. In those situations where you want to go through the enemy, either walk, or use your Blade Chasm.
  • Your Honing Runes buff works well with Assassins, since Assassins have an ability that guarantees critical attacks for a duration, and your buff increases all critical damage.
